Breast Cancer Treatment (BCT)
Breast Cancer Treatment can affect upper extremity range of motion, strength, and endurance and can lead to decreased mobility and function in activities of daily living.
We address a multitude of conditions generally associated with breast cancer treatment, such as:
- Muscle stiffness
- Muscle and joint pain
- Fatigue
- Cording (axillary web syndrome)
- Fibrosis, scar tissue
- Muscle tightness and restrictions
- Decreased strength and endurance
- Limited or restricted range of motion.
- Lymphedema prevention and treatment
Our treatment focus is one on one manual therapy, and consists of soft tissue and scar tissue release, to reduce chest wall tightness, fibrosis, scarring and cording.
